Chevy Equinox deer-hit windshield replacement

This deer-hit windshield damage was severe enough to spread across the driver’s view and compromise the glass structure. The Equinox arrived with broad impact breakage rather than a small isolated chip, so repair was not a realistic option. The safest plan was full replacement, with extra care around the dashboard and cabin because broken laminated glass had pushed inward. The damaged windshield was removed in a controlled way, the opening was cleared of loose material, and the bonding area was prepared before the replacement glass was positioned. Final checks focused on alignment, visibility, edge seating, and the condition of the surrounding trim. The completed vehicle is shown with clear glass and temporary retention tape in place while the adhesive entered its initial cure period. The dashboard and front seating area were checked again before the vehicle was released.
