Custom off-road front windshield replacement

This vehicle presented a very different working environment from a factory commuter car. Its upright windshield sat beneath a custom rack and beside exposed hinges, lighting hardware, and off-road body accessories. Those additions changed how the old glass could be reached and how the replacement had to be carried into position without contacting painted metal or mounted equipment. Before the front windshield installation, clearance around the rack and upper frame was reviewed and the windshield opening was inspected for irregular trim, previous sealant, and attachment points. The replacement was dry-positioned to confirm that the corners followed the custom frame correctly. Once set, the finished glass was viewed against the roofline, pillars, and surrounding accessories so the installation looked intentional on the modified vehicle rather than like a generic pane forced into place.
